The Squamish Sea and Sky Amenity Building is a 17,000 sq. ft. commercial amenity centre located in Squamish, BC, delivered for Axiom/Bosa.
Designed as a central gathering space for the surrounding community, the facility brings together recreation, wellness, and social amenities within a two-storey development.
Building & Construction
The project consists of a two-level structure accommodating a range of large-scale and specialized spaces, including a full-sized gymnasium, aquatic facilities, restaurant, and event areas. The design prioritizes functionality, user experience, and long-term performance, while maintaining alignment with project budget and constructability requirements through early-stage design-assist and value engineering.
Mechanical & Plumbing Systems
The mechanical scope includes a VRF HVAC system integrated with domestic plumbing, sanitary and storm drainage, sheet metal, thermal insulation, and refrigeration systems. Additional components include system controls, balancing and testing, and seismic solutions. The project also involves coordination across all mechanical disciplines to ensure system efficiency, performance, and seamless integration within the building envelope.
