East Columbia Mixed-Use Development
The East Columbia project is a six-storey, 92-unit rental development located in the historic Sapperton neighbourhood of New Westminster.
Delivered in partnership with Axiom Builders, the project brings together residential, commercial, and office spaces within a single mixed-use building. The development features a ground level dedicated to retail and commercial use, a second floor of office space, and four upper levels of residential rental units.
The design supports a range of uses while maintaining efficient building performance and constructability across all levels. The project is scheduled for an approximately 18-month construction duration. The mechanical scope includes the installation of plumbing, sheet metal, HVAC systems, and building controls, with coordination across all mechanical disciplines to support system performance, efficiency, and long-term reliability.
The project is being led by Project Manager Mehran Khan, bringing extensive industry experience to the delivery of this development.
